Once while Jesus was standing beside the Lake of Gennesaret and the crowd was pressing in on him to hear the word of God, he saw two boats there at the shore of the lake; the fishermen had gotten out of them and were washing their nets. He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little way from the shore. Then he sat down and taught the crowds from the boat. When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.”

We Are Gathered by the Holy Spirit
God is calling our faith community toward new and renewed forms of witness-, mission-, and justice-oriented work, in the Bay Area and in the larger community. In pursuit of that long-term calling, we depend on the Holy Spirit to equip us with sound Biblical teaching, remain in covenant with the United Church of Christ, and to faithfully and compassionately love one another and our neighbors. (Matthew 9:35-38)

Bind together followers of Jesus Christ for sharing in the worship of God and in making God’s will dominant in the lives of people, individually and collectively, specifically as that set forth in the life and teaching, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We are here in response to the call of God in Jesus Christ to accept the cost and discover the joy of discipleship by spreading the Good News of the Gospel everywhere, at all time.
Our Vision
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.
